I am busy working behind the scenes on Y-City Writers things. I am collecting donations for our October 8, 2011 Y-City Writers Conference. It's exciting whenever a new book arrives in the mail. I wish I could read them all. I will need to buy or check them out from the library if I can't wait for the conference, which is months away. Do you know how hard it is on a reader to not read books that are in their possession?
I get excited each day when I check my mailbox. I am sometimes disappointed that the mail carrier did not bring me any goodies, but when he does it's all I can do to contain myself. I feel like a little kid on Christmas Day.
Speakers are scheduled for the rest of the summer for the 3rd Tuesday of the month at our meetings. This is another thing that I am anticipating. It's exciting to me that these writers take time out of their busy schedules to meet with the Y-City Writers Forum.
